MEET THE COACH

Missaha

Missaha aka “Mish”discovered mountain biking in 2008 and instantly fell in love—with the ride, the challenge, and the community that comes with it. Since then, she’s made it her mission to help more people experience the confidence, freedom, and pure joy that comes from being on a bike—especially women and kids.

With two years of service on local trail committees and hands-on experience as a trail manager and builder at the Stockyard MTB Compound, Missaha brings a unique perspective to coaching that blends smart trail awareness with real-world riding skills. She understands how trails are built, how bikes should move through them, and how to help riders progress safely and confidently.

A PMBIA-certified coach with over three years of professional bike mechanic experience, Missaha is just as comfortable teaching riders how to fix their bikes as she is helping them master skills on the trail. She leads women’s skills clinics and mechanical workshops that empower riders to feel capable, confident, and independent—on and off the bike.

Known for her supportive, encouraging coaching style, Missaha loves nothing more than watching riders find their confidence, push past fear, and discover what they’re truly capable of. Her energy, expertise, and passion for growing the riding community make her an invaluable part of the Summit Bike Academy team.
